About This Project

acidlabs worked with the Government Information Office to develop and conduct workshops and report on research outcomes into an examination of opportunities for assisting families at risk and low-income earners to more easily access housing services.

The workshops were conducted over a number of sessions with staff from a range of ACT Government directorates including the GIO, Libraries ACT, DHCS and others.

For this project, we conducted preliminary research, including site visits to several places a prototype service could be delivered, and designed and ran two workshops for stakeholder groups, the first focussing on exploring the complexity of delivering holistic services to ACT Housing clients and the second to produce speculative designs for a customised workspace for delivery of services from ACT public libraries. To finalise the project, we produced a report of workshop and research findings and our recommendations
